Come and learn about the increasingly critical role of real-time data in the modern water industry. In this 1-hour session, OSIsoft’s Nicolas Peels will begin by giving an introduction to some of the business challenges the water industry is facing. We’ll then get an overview of who OSIsoft are and get a glimpse into how the PI System works. We can then combine our new knowledge to understand how this technology is used by water companies to address their business challenges, illustrated by some real-world examples from the industry.
Bio: Nicolas is responsible for leading OSIsoft’s Academic Programme in EMEA, helping to bring together the industry-academia community through impactful innovation and research as well as supporting skills development for the next generation. Having previously served in technical and leadership roles, he is passionate about working with thought leaders in applying technology to solve business challenges in engineering industries. He holds an MEng in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Salford, UK.
