Abstract:
MWH Treatment and Severn Trent Water over the last four years been working in partnership developing several bespoke software platforms under the Network Analysis umbrella. Three main platforms have evolved within STW:
1. WANDA – Mains Asset location, Isolation and Rezone.
2. HUB – Source to Tap representation of entire network within one central platform.
3. BALANCE – Data viewer, System Balance and Live modelling.
Currently these platforms are providing benefit across multiple areas of Severn Trent Water.
James Tremlett and Jingguo Zhang are here today to talk about certain elements of the project’s innovative successes and difficult challenges.
Biography:
Over 23 years working in the water industry, providing a varied skill base encompassing all aspects of water supply and distribution. Most recently leading the MWH Treatments Network Analytics Team consisting of a small number of multi-disciplined engineers from hands on operational experience, GIS data analysis and industry recognized software development.
