Tuesday 10 Dec 2019[Journal Club] Title: Internal gravity waves in stars : effect of boosted models

Internal gravity waves propagate in radiative regions of stars where they transport energy and angular momentum. As they have not be observed in solar-like stars yet, they are mainly study with 3D hydrodynamic simulations. These simulations are very time-consuming so in order to simulate longer period it is usual to boost the numerical models, i.e. artificially increase the luminosity. It is suspected that this could have an impact on the internal gravity waves. Our aim is to compare models with different boost values in order to determine this impact.
