Mohammad Akrami

Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering


After his BSc is accomplished in Mechanical Engineering in 2010, he started his MSc in 2011 in "Mechanical Engineering Design" at the University of Manchester which is finished in Distinction with the highest GPA. He got the University of Manchester Scholarship to pursue his PhD studies in Mechanical Engineering from the following year. He joined the University of Exeter in 2016 as the Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering.


Research Interests:  

-Multi-scale musculoskeletal modelling

-Biomechanics of different human body segments (Hand, Shoulder, Knee, Foot, Hip)

-Reconstructive surgery modelling

-Additive Layer Manufacturing 

-Fluid Mechanics

-Vibration modelling
