Dr Qiang Li is an associate research fellow in the Energy Harvesting Group led by Professor Meiling Zhu. His reasearch focuses on developing novel fabircation and testing techniques to integrate the energy harvesting elements onto composite made wing of manned/unmanned aircraft to power the wireless system for structural health and environmental monitoring. He is also looking at the development of multiphysics modelling for simulation and analysis of porposed energy harvesting system.

Before joining Energy Harvesting Group, he was an associate research fellow mainly researching on manufacturing systems and Additive Manufacturing at XMEC of University of Exeter between 2013-2015. He graduated from Chongqing University, China, in 2005 with a BEng in Mold Design & Manufacturing and a MEng in Computer Software & Theory. Before he starting his PhD studies in Chongqing University he worked as a lecturer teaching programming and software engineering at Shandong University of Technology, China, between 2006-2009. His PhD research in Chongiqng University included modelling and optimization of dynamic collaborative manufacturing service systems.
