For this module, you will develop as a civil engineer by building upon your knowledge of structural behaviour to now study structural design. The module will focus on the design of structures in reinforced concrete. In this module, you will cover the design of common structural forms such as reinforced concrete beams, columns and slabs. In line with the industry practice, all your design work will follow the relevant industry standards for designing reinforced concrete structures (in particular Eurocode 1 and 2).
