Module title:Computer Aided Analysis & Design
Module codeECM3210
Module lecturers:
Module credits:15

The ability to develop valid computer models of real world structures is an essential engineering skill. With this skill you can approach the analysis of complex structures more readily exploring design alternatives and ultimately identifying efficiencies in your design. However, a healthy skepticism regarding the accuracy and validity of computer output is always advised. In this module you will develop the skills needed to take advantage of powerful analysis and design software. More importantly, you will also develop the skills needed to ask the right questions to verify the validate your output.
