In this module, you will critically reflect on the work you do within your employed role and how the learning you have undertaken in other modules has been applied in the workplace. The focus of the module will be on the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) required for the Level 7 Research Scientist Apprenticeship standard. The KSBs are delivered throughout the MSc Data Science (Professional) programme, but must be evidenced in the workplace to complete the Apprenticeship. This module will allow you to reflect on the KSBs and develop a portfolio of evidence in the style and format required for the apprenticeship. The aim is to allow integration and internalisation of skills and knowledge. You will be expected to become a reflective practitioner, consciously reflecting on your own practice and adapting accordingly.

 

This module is the second of two professional practice modules and will explore ethical and regulatory requirements for professional conduct.

 

The module COMM420 DA Professional Practice 1 must be taken either before or alongside this module.
