Engineering in an International Society B
Module aims:
To develop an understanding of different cultures and how the place of the engineer within society differs in different countries. This module is for students following the Erasmus or some other study-abroad program during the 6th semester and is intended to provide the cultural context for their study period in a foreign country. If the student has arranged study at a non-European institution s/he may take this module focusing on the institution and country in which the study is undertaken. Some proportion of the module (up to 100%) can be replaced by evidence of study on suitable credit-rated or non-credit-rated courses undertaken at the host institution, eg Language study (supplementary to any study undertaken in the 5th semester in Exeter).
Please note that this module is currently under review and full specifications are not currently available for download. This usually indicates that the module isn't being taught in this current academic year and details will be available soon. Please get in contact if you have any further questions about this module or programme structure.
