Administrator (Vibration Engineering Section)
I am the Administrator for the Vibration Engineering Section, providing both administrative and marketing support to the team of academic staff and postgraduate researchers. On the marketing side, my duties include promoting the research group's activities through managing the website and social media, maintaining contact lists and sending mail outs. On the administrative side, I organise events, proofread research papers, organise meetings, take minutes, manage diaries and book travel. In addition, my support for the research group includes office management, purchasing and submitting expenses.
I joined the College in 2013, as the Administration and Marketing Officer for the Centre for Alternative Materials and Remanufacturing Technologies (CALMARE). While in post, I was responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of the centre, as well as contributing to the effective marketing and publicity of the project.
