Ronan Doyle (MSc., B.A.I., B.A., PGCE) : I am the Project and Communications Manager for the SHIFFT Project based in Penryn. My background is Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (Project, Operations, Facilities, Management) with large multinationals including General Electric, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Molins International Technology, RMC & Wyeth Medica. I have course managed Engineering at FE and HE level. And I have managed Technical Service Teams in Biological and Marine Sciences, Medicine and Dentistry, and Arts and Design.University of Exeter is Lead Partner for the SHIFFT Project (Sustainable Heating: Implementation of Fossil-Free Technologies) which represents an investment of € 5,703,451.83 by the European Union Interreg 2 Seas Programme and 10 Partner organisations in 4 Countries (UK, France, Belgium and the Netherlands) with additional funding from the Dutch government.
#SHIFFT supports the transition towards a low-carbon economy by accelerating the market adoption of #sustainableheating solutions. #SHIFFT will reduce CO2 emissions in the built environment by reducing the use of fossil fuels in heating of existing household and community buildings stimulating the adoption of low-carbon technologies.
