Postgraduate Researcher (Metamaterials CDT 2020)

I am a first year postgraduate researcher at the Centre for Doctoral Training at the University of Exeter.

My project title is: Effect of Material Conductivity and Architechture on Electromagnetic Surface Wave Propogation. My project is sponsored by TWI, Cambridge which is where I am based. The project is based on SurFlow technology developed by TWI. My supervisors at the University are: Prof. Alastair Hibbibs and Prof. Roy Sambles, my TWI supervisors are Dr. Chris Worral and Dr Jasmin Stein.

I studied for my MPhys at the Univeristy of Exeter with a dissertation project titled: 'Numerical Simulations of Rayleigh-Taylor Driven Convection in Magnetic White Dwarfs.'. This project predominantly involved a lot of CFD in order to simulate a compositionally driven dynamo at very high Reynolds' Numbers.
