Daniel Holdaway will be giving a live presentation from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre about his graduate journey and career at NASA. Due to the time difference between the U.K. and Washington DC, the presentation will be taking place at 6:30pm. Please book via My Career Zone.



Daniel Holdaway, an Exeter Mathematics Alumnus, will be giving a live presentation all the way from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Centre, about his journey through University and his exciting career at NASA. He attended Exeter University between 2002 and 2010, and gained an interest in how mathematics is applied to predicting the weather and climate through numerical models. During this talk, there will be a brief overview about how NASA uses numerical methods to predict the weather and atmospheric behaviour will be shown. Daniel will also have some interesting videos to show you. This talk will be an amazing opportunity to speak to an Exeter Alumnus and to learn about some of the fascinating science used at NASA.
