Prof. Supeng Leng - Vice Dean of Research at School of Communication and Information Engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
Harrison 101 15:00-16:00
The integration and interoperability of mobile communication technologies, along with new broadband wireless innovations and intelligent user-oriented services is boosting the development of vehicular networks. This presentation will give an introduction of Wireless Network and Ubiquitous Computing Group from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) and their research work in vehicular networks. The talk will cover many emerging technologies in the field of vehicular networks, including medium access control and information delivery in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs), connectivity analysis of platoon-based VANETs, Vehicular Communications in LTE/5G Cellular Networks, as well as the architecture of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) system and the Demand Response Management (DRM) for the electric charging/feedback of Electronic Vehicles (EVs) in Smart Grid.
