Gab is a senior lecturer in the Climate Change Research Centre at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. His research interests lie broadly in the area of model evaluation, particularly in model dependence and uncertainty estimation in ensemble modelling as well as model benchmarks based on an a priori quantification of expectations. He is the main developer of the Protocol for the Analysis of Land Surface models, an automated land surface model benchmarking web application.
