Thursday 04 Oct 2012Cicumstellar Disk Evolution with Radiative Hydrodynamics

Dr Yusuke Tsukamoto - Nagoya University, Japan

Physics, 4th floor 16:00-16:30

Evolution of cicumstellar disk is closely related to the mass acquiring process of a protostar or the formation process of binary/multiple system or the formation of planets and very interesting subjects. Especially, the disk fragmentation via gravitational instability in Class 0, 1 phase has a possibility to explain the formation process of wide planets or FU ori outburst. However, the simulations of previous works have debatable points and it still not be obvious such a process really occur or not. In this talk, I will talk about our recent results about the formation and evolution of the circumstellar disk with RHD simulation and discuss the conditions of disk fragmentation.
