Overview

I am a PhD student (started 2018) under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Partridge and Prof. Jim Haywood. My research is based on constraining global climate model (GCM) uncertainty with respect to aerosol processes in the Arctic. To achieve this, I will be developing and applying a Lagrangian trajectory-based framework for analysis of relevant GCM output.

During my PhD, I will also be co-ordinating an AeroCom experiment with the aim of gathering comparable, longer term datasets from many different modelling groups. I plan to apply the trajectory framework to these models and compare them observations to better understand how different parameterisations affect model output.

Background

Completed my MSc in Computer Science at the University of Exeter with 1st class honours in 2018.
