I joined the University of Exeter in September 2020 as a postdoctoral research associate. Born in Hong Kong, I got my B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from Peking University in 2015 and Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Harvard University in 2020. My research interest is primarily on mid-latitude atmospheric dynamics, ranging from storm track, blocking, to heat wave and weather extremes. I use both statistical analysis and numerical modeling in these studies. I am now working with Prof Mat Collins and Dr Jennifer Catto on mid-latitude weather extremes in Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6).
