I am employed under the Securing Multidisciplinary UndeRstanding and Prediction of Hiatus and Surge events (SMURPHS) research programme, which is funded by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC).
I study large scale modes of climate variability, such as the El Niño/South Oscillation (ENSO), the Interdecadal Pacific Oscillation (IPO), or the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation (AMO). The goal of my work is to understand how these modes of variability influence the rate of global warming.
