I'm a postdoctoral researcher in the Exeter Climate Systems group. I'm currently working with Mat Collins, Hugo Lambert and Rob Chadwick as part of the Emergence of Climate Hazards project. I'm working on understanding how teleconnections associated with El Nino-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) change in future climate projections, using data from CMIP6.
Previously, I was working in the Department of Meteorology at the University of Reading looking at teleconnections associated with the Indian summer monsoon (ISM), with a focus on the role of the ISM in influencing the weather in Europe in summer. This involved using the ECMWF coupled seasonal forecast model to try and determine if the ISM can be used as a potential source of predictability for European summer weather.
