Dr Dalia Terhesiu
Lecturer in Pure Mathematics (E&R)
Dr Dalia Terhesiu is a lecturer in Pure Mathematics. She has a PhD from UNSW (Australia) in the subject of Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems. Before arriving at Exeter she was a Research Fellow at University of Surrey (UK), Universita di Roma, Tor Vergata (Italy) and University of Vienna (Austria). Her main publications are on mixing rates of discrete dynamical systems with finite and, mainly, infinite measure. Recently, her work (in collaboration) extended to the study of mixing rates of continuous time dynamical systems with both finite and infinite measure.
dynamical systems, ergodic theory, statistical properties of dynamical systems, mixing rates for dynamical systems and infinite ergodic theory.
