The 55th Conference on Human Responses to Vibration:
University of Exeter, 23rd-24th June 2022

HRV Conference

COVID 2019 update

Due to global uncertainty around when restrictions on travel and social distancing will be lifted, the decision has been taken to postpone the 55th Human Responses to Vibration Conference until 2022.

The venue has been changed to the University of Exeter campus and the new dates have been set as Thursday, 23rd June 2022 to Friday, 24th June 2022.

Abstracts will continue to be welcomed for the postponed event, and we are using EasyChair to manage the process.

To submit an abstract to EasyChair, the link to enter as an author is https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=hrv2020#

Updated information about the conference, including information about full papers, will be added to this webpage in due course.

Submissions will cover all aspects of hand-transmitted vibration, whole-body vibration and motion sickness.

The UK Conference on Human Responses to Vibration (UK HRV) is an annual opportunity for specialists from the UK and further afield to exchange information, disseminate research findings and receive updates on current issues related to human exposure to vibration. Submissions will cover all aspects of hand-transmitted vibration, whole-body vibration and motion sickness.

The theme for the 55th conference will be Human Response to Vibration in Transport and the Built Environment. While hosted on the main University of Exeter campus, it will focus attention around the newly opened VSimulators facility located within the University of Exeter Engineering Research Building at Exeter Science Park. The conference will include demonstrations of the facility to enable delegates to see and experience its capabilities throughout the event.
