Overview

Tingwen Ruan is a member of the Energy Harvesting Group led by Professor Zhu. His research focuses on propose, design, implement and test the low power consumption of wireless sensor motes and wireless sensor networks with the energy-aware approaches for energy harvesting powered wireless sensor system.  The research includes hardware design, software program and communication design.

He graduated from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China, in 2012.  Before joining the University of Exeter, he worked for one year as a technical support engineer of ZTE in 2013. His major in Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications is network engineering which is about telecommunication and information engineering.
