Dr Mohammad Akrami is a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Exeter. His research interests include energy and sustainability, biomechanical engineering, modelling and simulation of nonlinear systems, and optimisation.

Mohammad was awarded his MSc and PhD from the University of Manchester, in 2012 and 2016, respectively, funded by the UMIST School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering. Since 2016, he held several positions such as a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Exeter. He was appointed as the Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering in March 2020.
