Overview

I am a Research Fellow with research interests in acoustics, photonics and bio-inspired systems.

I am currently researching in the interdisciplinary fields of surface acoustic waves (SAWs), acoustic metamaterials and phononic crystals, SAW streaming, and bio-inspired microswimmers.

My research background includes research in photonic crystals, including biophotonic, gyroidal, chiral and bio-inspired photonic crystals. I researched naturally occurring photonic crystals in the optical frequency regime, and bio-inspired, synthetic structures in the microwave frequency regime.
