Overview

Charlie Statham is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over twelve years of design experience.  He has been involved in a wide variety of projects, including Crossrail (Bond Street), master planning for Imperial College (Kensington), and design checks on The Shard.  He studied at Cambridge University (Queens' College) gaining a Master of Engineering Degree.

More recently, Charlie has been working on 'The Cube', a £350mil redevelopment of Paddington Square, and the London Underground ticketing hall beneath.  The existing ticket hall will be cut in two, and a new 18m deep lift shaft sunk between the Bakerloo Underground tunnels, which must continue to operate throughout.

He was formerly in The British Army serving in The Parachute Regiment, on operations in Northern Ireland, The Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan.
