Mrs Natalie Hewitt
Senior Inclusivity Advisor
As Senior Inclusivity Advisor, I support and assist with the implementation of inclusivity strategies, policies and procedures for the University, including engagement with external equality accreditations at University, College and Department levels.
I lead a small team of Inclusivity Advisors, providing support to Colleges and Professional Services, as appropriate, in driving forward their inclusivity objectives and Charter initiatives. I also liaise and develop partnerships with key internal customers and external agencies to share best practice.
I currently work closely with the College Inclusivity Committee on their quality and diversity objectives; the Department of Enginering and Camborne School of Mines on their Athena SWAN initiatives; and the Department of Physics and Astronomy on their Athena SWAN and Juno initiatives.
I graduated from the University of Exeter in 2000 and have since been working for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the UK and overseas, before joining the University in February 2011.
