My field of research is theoretical condensed matter physics. Currently I am focusing on the electromechanical properties of graphene membranes and on nano-electromechanical systems (NEMS). In the past few years I also worked on cold atoms and on the fractional quantum Hall effect (Chern-Simons quantum field theory, composite fermions and non-abelian quantum Hall states).
