Currently seconded as a Project Manager in the PSMT office.
Project Administrator for the CORFU project (Collaborative Research on Flood Resilience in Urban Areas) with responsibility for financial deliverables and periodic reports to the European Commission. CORFU is funded by the European Commission, Seventh Framework Programme 2010 - 2014. The University of Exeter is the coordinating institution for this project, which includes 17 institutional research partners and 65 researchers in the UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Spain, The Netherlands, India, Bangladesh, China, South Korea and Taiwan.
I am a graduate of the University of Toronto, and was a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. I most recently worked as founding VP Finance of a company which commercialised patents for medical imaging, developed by the company’s founders, and licensed from a Canadian university. In five years, that company grew from six to 130 employees, and last year was sold to a major medical equipment manufacturer. Prior to that venture, for 15 years I was a partner in a Canadian investment management company with clients in Canada and the UK.
