He was until recently the President of the London Mathematical Society and is currently the Sedleian Professor of Natural Philosophy at the University of Oxford, where he is also a Fellow of The Queen's College.</p><p> Professor Keating has wide-ranging interests that cover both fundamental mathematics and its applications.
