Software
We have produced a number of software tools to assist architects and designers with important design decisions. These can be downloaded below (please read the Centre's software disclaimer before use)

| VEST | Our Very Early Stage Design Tool (VEST) is tool to help architects and designers to understand the energy efficiency implications of their design decisions at the concept design stage. A web based version of this software will be available soon. |
| Future Weather Files | Developed as part of the Prometheus project, these files can be used to 'future-proof' buildings against predicted climate change. |
| Rex |
This is a renewable energy sizing tool aimed at schools. It provides a simple analysis to help designers choose the best renewable energy solution. Download the Rex manual. |
| Reverb | Aimed at architects and acousticians, Reverb is a tool to help with choosing room surface finishes to meet a specific room reverberation time. |
| Transmit | Another piece of software aimed at acousticians, this programme estimates the sound insulation of a given construction. |
| EX-PV | A tool for estimating the total annual electricity output of a complex photovoltaic array. |
| BIO1 | Tools to assist in the procurement of biomass boilers (checklist, flowchart and spreadsheet tool) |
