Emily is a PhD student in renewable energy and ecological economics with the Environment & Sustainability Institute at Exeter Cornwall campus, and is based full time at Plymouth Marine Laboratory. Her research is concerned with the links that marine ecosystem services have with the economy, and how the marine environment provides inputs to economic activity. She is particularly interested in the effect offshore wind has on the environment and U.K. economy. Her project is part of the NERC funded GW4+ doctoral training partnership, and is partly funded by the U.K. Government's Marine Management Organisation.
