Physics Society

Physics Society is a large society with around 300 members at present evenly spread across all academic year groups. We meet every couple of weeks for a social - varying from casual drinks to themed nights out and even whole days out paintballing and karting at ‘Raceworld’ outside of Exeter. We also organise academic-related events such as careers evenings and field trips e.g. to the Norman Lockyer Observatory in Sidmouth, Devon.

Annually we hold a Christmas meal to which all members are invited and we also hold a summer ball for all physics students to enjoy a fantastic party once they can relax after exams!
