I am a final year doctorate student in the Centre for Doctoral Training in Metamaterials, XM2 program at the University of Exeter. Prior to starting the PhD, I studied M.Sc. in Photonics with the Erasmus Mundus scholarship jointly awarded by Ghent University - Belgium, Royal Institute of Technology - Sweden and University of St. Andrews - Scotland. My M.Sc. thesis was on the topic of hyeprbolic metamaterials, where I developed great interest for the topic of metamaterials. I worked as a research intern at the Institute of Photonics Sciences, Spain for a short period of time after my Masters, where I mainly worked on optimising optics measurement setups, and construction of commercial light beam modifying components.
My current research in Exeter involves inter-element interactions in metamaterials, with Prof. Bill Barnes and Dr. Ian Hooper. More details about the project are on my 'PhD Project' page. Please get in touch if you wish to discuss more about my research.
