I am currently a Research Fellow in the inter-disciplinary Living Systems Institute of University of Exeter.
I completed my PhD in Nanophotonics from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India where part of my PhD research for a year was carried out at Institut fuer Angwandte Physik, University of Muenster, Germany under DAAD sandwich model PhD research fellowship. Prior to joining as a Research Fellow here in University of Exeter, I was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin, Germany and subsequently a Max Planck Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, Erlangen, Germany.
My research interests include both computational as well as experimental investigations pertaining to Nanophotonics, Opto-plasmonic microresonators and biosensors, Quantum optical correlations and photon statistics, Novel single photon sources, Silicon photonics, Enhanced light-matter interactions in ordered and disordered nanostructures.
