He is currently undertaking a doctoral degree in physics at the University of Exeter with the Electromagnetic Materials group.
Research
Current research involves investigating and developing novel metamaterial structures for use in the field of acoustics. The structures are designed to possess properties available because of the purposely designed topology. The initial project is to produce an ultrathin acoustic absorber.
Prior work looked at developing a thermal sensory device for a tactile display device. Such a device may eventually find use in virtual reality units.
