I did my undergraduate studies in Physics at the University of Salamanca (Spain). During the last year of my undergrad, I worked in a project about imaging in diffuse media, supervised by Julio San Román and Iñigo Sola. On that project we tried different approaches to avoid the scattered light, filtering the ballistic component in order to improve the quality of the image.
That first project kindled my interest in the multiple scattering regime, leading to my actual PhD in Imaging in turbid and opaque media. In this project we are taking advantage of the properties of scattering media to actively control scattered light.
I am currently co-organiser of the Exeter Imaging Network, which offers the opportunity of building collaborations along different departments and universities through organising workshops, seminars and conferences among others.
