Recruitment

The Centre for Graphene Science, a joint initiative involving the Universities of Exeter and Bath, was founded in 2009 following the award of a £5 million grant from the EPSRC/HEFCE Science and Innovation Awards scheme. Seven academic appointments to the Centre have already been made. We now wish to appoint to two further posts in the Centre, one at Chair level to be the leader of the Centre, and one additional Lectureship.

Six academic appointments in Graphene have already been made at Exeter, a new clean room suite built, and around £2 million of new fabrication and characterisation equipment purchased. The Centre's research focuses on methods of producing Graphene and Graphene-based nanostructures, experimental and theoretical studies of Graphene-based systems and the development of new Graphene-based devices and sensors.
