The CEMPS Early Career Research Network is delighted to announce a free workshop on research fellowships. For Early Career Researchers, obtaining a fellowship not only allows us to attain the financial means to achieve our academic goals and also helps us boost professional reputation as scholars. Having a fellowship will make an impressive addition to an academic CV, and pursuing a fellowship allows researchers to develop various new skills. However, winning a fellowship is difficult due to the intense competition. This workshop will address all the crucial details about fellowships, including how to apply or make yourself a compelling candidate and also provide guidance in the selection of appropriate funding.
During this workshop, we will hear from three experienced academics who have successfully obtained a fellowship in three different research fields. Come along and find out exactly what is involved in the fellowship application and hear how a fellowship can affect your long-term research career. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided for all registered attendees.
