Abstract:
The Digital Twin is a virtual model of wastewater, stormwater and water distribution networks. In this talk, David will describe the digital twin and its relationship with modelling. He will take a look at some existing implementations and the lessons we have learned from those. Then he will go on to discuss where this is all leading for operations.
Biography:
David produce software systems for the water industry. His focus right now is on transforming water and wastewater network operations using the Digital Twin. That's what he promotes at Innovyze and is also the subject of the PhD he is currently doing at Exeter University. "Transform" is certainly ambitious. Can we do it?
