Monday 17 Mar 2014: Representing spatial change
Mike Worboys, University of Greenwich - University of Greenwich
Harrison 101 15:00-16:00
Computer-based models of topological relationships in many spatial scenes can be constructed with the help of an analysis of embeddings of graphs in surfaces. This talk will begin by reviewing algebraic representations of graph embeddings in closed surfaces. It will go on to discuss some of the presenter's work in using these representations to model spatial change.
