The NASA EPOXI mission of opportunity to gather ultraprecise photometry of known transiting extrasolar planets.
EPOXI (EPOCh + DIXI) is a Discovery Program mission of opportunity using the Deep Impact flyby spacecraft. The Extrasolar Planet Observation and Characterisation (EPOCh) phase of this mission obtained high precision time series photometry on seven known transiting planet systems. Each system was observed for several weeks to obtain substantial phase coverage. The resulting data set will be analysed for evidence of transit timing variations, planetary rings or moons, and transits by additional planets. Here I present our initial photometry and analysis.
