Psychology in patient care

The ethos of healthcare today puts the patient at the centre of all we do; however all too often patient's experiences can leave them confused, dissatisfied or downright unhappy.

The patient's view

Patient-centred care is at the heart of good clinical practice and, contrary to popular opinion, is more than simple common sense. What better way to understand what matters most to our patients when in hospital or at the doctor's surgery, than by listening to their stories in own words?

Each session contains the same common set of suggested questions as in the Psychology for patient care pages as well as some clip-specific self test questions and answers.
