I am a PhD student within the Mathematics department, working on Dynamical Systems for Life Cycle Assessments with applications in Renewable Energy, under the supervision of Dr Markus Mueller and Dr Xiaoyu Yan. I am developing the mathematics and tools to understand how changes in the life cycle of a renewable energy technology impact on its overall performance. The tools will consider environmental, technological, economic and other factors, be able to make predictions, plan for scenarios based on feedbacks within the life cycle and external inputs to the processes involved, as well as allow for comparison of different technologies.

Research interests

  • Life cycle assessments
  • Usage of waste heat
  • Sustainability of production processes
