CGAFD is active in holding events for staff and students of Exeter University, as well as hosting meetings, workshops and conferences. CGAFD runs regular group meetings, seminars and colloquia.

6-10 September 2015: 35th Dynamics Days Europe hosted by the Centre for Systems, Dynamics and Control.

The CGAFD is a well established group, bringing together leading researchers with interests in convection, rotating fluids and magnetic phenomena, for instance with members organising the traditional UKMHD meeting in May 2014.
