Dr Tim Jupp started at SECaM in September 2007, having previously worked as a researcher at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology at the University of Cambridge.
Dr Jupp's research focuses on applying mathematical and statistical techniques to climate-related questions. His current work is on data assimilation in the terrestrial carbon cycle; cointegration (time series analysis); land-atmosphere interactions diagnosed from satellite observations; feedbacks in the climate system; and Maximum Entropy Production ("MEP") in planetary atmospheres.
