I'm a lecturer in Systems Biology . I have a PhD in biochemistry from University of Michigan. Before joining Exeter in September 2009, I spent two years at the ETH as a postdoc and two years at the Microsoft Research - University of Trento Computational Biology Centre as an independent researcher.

My main research is in the emerging field of Evolutionary Systems Biology and broadly aims to uncover "evolutionary design principles" of molecular networks. For more information on my research and open positions please see the website of my lab .

Currently, I co-teach ECMM 713, Modelling Applications and Case Studies and I am the coordinator and co-teacher for one of the modules (Dynamics and Evolution of Biological Systems) in the upcoming MSc for Systems Biology and Bioinformatics.
