MSc Applied Geotechnics with study abroad (European)

This new programme variant offers graduates in geology, civil engineering and related subjects the opportunity to undertake academic study in the field of applied geotechnics both at the Cornwall campus and at selected Universities in Europe.

This programme aims to produce competent geotechnical engineers for industry. CSM currently offers the only MSc Applied Geotechnics programme in Europe. This programme offers Geology graduates a route to an MSc in an area that will further enhance their employment prospects. The combination of taught modules at the Cornwall campus and at partner Universities in Europe allows access to a wide range of academic expertise across the four Universities.

Full-time students will undertake 4 periods of 8 weeks study at each of the Universities (each period representing 30 credits), with students returning to the Cornwall campus to complete their final project and dissertation.
