Prof Zoran Vojinovic
Honorary University Professor
Professor Zoran Vojinovic is Honorary Professor in the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences at the University of Exeter, with over 20 years of combined consulting and academic experience working in various aspects of water industry in New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Europe, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
Professor Vojinovic has a solid track record in obtaining funding from international and national donors as well as in working with international development organisations such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and UN agencies, notably the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Professor Vojinovic leads the European Commission funded FP7 PEARL research project which brings together a consortium of 24 high level research partners to develop adaptive and resilient sociotechnical risk management measures and strategies for coastal cities affected by extreme hydro-meteorological events (http://www.pearl-fp7.eu/).
Professor Vojinovic is currently serving as Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Hydroinformatics and he authored/co-authored four books, over 100 journal and conference papers, book chapters, and professional engineering reports.
