Dr Stephen J Childe is a senior lecturer in the School of Engineering, Computing and Methematics, University of Exeter and a member of the Exeter Manufacturing Enterprise Centre (XMEC). He is a Chartered Engineer with IET, a member of the International Federation for Information Processing's Working Group (No.5.7 Integrated Manufacturing Systems) and Editor of the international journal Production Planning & Control.
